Hancock Kiko Farm

Warrior aka
WARSAW
This solid black buck placed fifth out of fifty-three bucks on the 2007 Oklahoma buck test..
Of the 100% New Zealand bucks, he was first.    During the course of this test, not only did he not
have to be wormed, but his fecal egg count went DOWN from 400 to 100 !!   This parasite
resistance, now university documented, was what impressed me most about Warrior.   That
coupled with his excellent growth rate, and solid black color make a combination that will be hard
to beat.   I have been told several times that the solid black Kikos are the toughest and hardiest
of the breed.

Update......As of May 1, 2009  I have still NEVER had to worm or trim Warrior.......

WARRIOR was the sire of the top parasite resistant buck  in the 2008 Oklahoma buck test.
His son also ended the test with an ending worm count of 100!!   The next closest buck had a
count of 450.

Between daddy and me, we have 22 Warrior daughters.    Also, we have just about that many
sons.

Warrior now lives in Illinois with Gail and Trevor Irwin.   I wish them well with this fine buck.

Warrior's genetics will, however, have a very strong influence on our herd.

I plan to linebreed  Warrior  "WARSAW" to lock in this super parasite resistant trait,
as well as "turning Big Boy black."
