What is an Arapawa?
Arapawa Goats are feral goats from Arapawa Island in New Zealand.  They
are an endangered breed with less than 500 left in the world.  So far we have
16.  Our goal is to explore and find the strengths and weaknesses of this
breed.   I am very impressed with how thick and meaty  they are.  Ours also
have very gentle dispositions.   I had heard that they were tiny and wild.
While they are not tall, they are definitely not tiny.  They are beautiful animals.
They are also all colored.   Also, some are short haired and some long
haired.  We plan to breed primarily for short hair.

Attention Breeders:    We are interested in buying more Arapawas.
If you have some for sale,  give us a call.
